Offering about 1200 freshly dug and bagged plants featuring approximately 90 different daylilies. This is a great opportunity to purchase both new and older varieties not available for sale in nurseries or garden centers. Some pre-bagged collections are available at a reduced price and you may receive a discount on large purchases. A free page of planting and growing advice is also available.
This is the 19th year for the sale and it often sells out so be sure to arrive early for the best selection. Some varieties are in limited supply.
Proceeds benefit the Kimmswick Visitor Center.
Kimmswick was established in 1859, and shares a rich history here in Jefferson County. The Kimmswick Historical Society and the Kimmswick Merchants invite you to join us on Saturday, September 15th to learn more about this quaint river town.

Why a Witches’ Night Out Event? Because we all love Halloween and what woman doesn’t like getting “All Dressed Up” for a “Fun Night Out on the Town with her Girlfriends”, all while supporting a great cause! So, dust off your hats and brooms and throw on your best “Witchy Wear”, and join us for a spell out on the town!
Activities include: Music & Entertainment, Psychic, Attendance Prizes, Wine Tasting, Food Booths, Scavenger Hunt, Costume Contest, Shopping Discounts, and much more! With this being our 8TH YEAR, we can tell you—this is a unique evening with an incredible atmosphere, all at an affordable price.
The Kimmswick Appplebutter Festival is the last full weekend of October. The Apple Butter Festival is the largest celebration Kimmswick has annually drawing over 100,000 visitors. Come enjoy the small town ambiance, stroll through our streets lined with 500 – 600 food, drink and craft vendors. Also enjoy lots of live entertainment throughout the town including bluegrass, country rock, and dulcimer music.
Calling all "Deer Widows", send the men off to the woods and start your "man free" weekend with us in Kimmswick! When the guys go hunting...the girls go shopping! Girls "bag" your own "trophies" in Kimmswick and get a head start on your holiday shopping.
"Target your Savings!" Make a $1.00 donation to support the Kimmswick Visitor Center, and receive a Shopping Passport that will give you discounts and free gifts at Participating Merchants and Restaurants throughout Kimmswick. With each purchase made during the weekend, you can enter to win a "Bucket of Bucks" Gift Basket, on Display at the Kimmswick Visitor Center. Some lucky winner will win "Big Bucks" in Gift Certificates for Kimmswick Merchants! Shopping Passports and all details are available at the Kimmswick Visitor Center or any of the participating Kimmswick merchants.
Get into the holiday spirit by enjoying the town's festive decorations and special events. Santa will host a tree lighting ceremony and the streets will be alive with strolling carolers and entertainment throughout. Many shops will be serving refreshments and offering holiday sales, so make your list and check it twice then head to Kimmswick for this fun-filled family event and wrap-up your holiday shopping early this year.

The Cookie Walk is a “not to be missed” event! The walk offers cheer for the entire family with a festive holiday atmosphere and the collection of more than 2 dozen treats! With your ticket you’ll receive our 2018 “sweet treat” recipe book and a gift bag and map to collect your goodies! Tickets will be on sale, SOON!
This weekend we also celebrate our Christmas Festival! The town’s historic buildings are decorated in Christmas attire; there are strolling carolers, carriage rides, along with many other festive activities. Luminaries will light your way as you stroll the streets; shops are open late (until 9 pm on Friday & Saturday). Restaurants too will have extended hours as well.
