Kimmswick offers a chance to step back into the less hurried days of the 1800’s.  Enjoy a walk through a beautiful town with many one-of-a-kind shops that will inspire you.  The cordial atmosphere of our restaurants will remind you of a time long past.

    Kimmswick Strawberry Festival


    The 2016 Strawberry Festival will be held June 4th and 5th. Festival Admission is free.

    The big draw to this festival is the popular Original Kimmswick Strawberry Jam that sells out nearly every year. This delicious Jam sells for $7.00 a pint and will only be sold at the entrance of town at the intersection of Beckett and Fourth streets.

    There will be over 200 craft, food, vendor and corporate booths.  All of our wonderful shops and restaurants will be open and will be selling strawberry themed items.

    New this year will be a Live Broadcast from the station KBDZ 93.1 with the popular radio personality JC Corcoran from 11am to 1pm.  Come and meet JC and maybe win yourself Cardinal's tickets. This booth will also be next to the Information and Jam selling stand.

    Want to try to win a Budweiser Weber grill donated by H.W. Herrells Dist?  Stop by the information booth and accept the Palaroo “check in challenge”.  Download the free Palaroo app, click on the Strawberry Festival link and you will not only be able to see what every vendor who rents from the city has to offer and where they are located,  but when you check into all 4 specified areas you will automatically be registered in the drawing!

    Music, music, music…this year the city will have 3 areas of music both days……The Park will have The Good Sam Club Band play on Saturday from 11:00 to 5pm.

    We are very pleased and honored to announce that there will be a special performance by Jay Tighe. His awesome debut album is titled “Driven”. This album features 11 tracks all written by Jay.  The album released independently on iTunes, GooglePlay, Amazon and www.jaytighe.com. This Midwest raised, St. Louis hometown singer says artists ranging from Rascal Flatts to Kenny Rogers have influenced his mix of country and pop singing/songwriting. Jay has shared the stage with artists including Sugarland, Jason Aldean, Enrique Iglesias and many others. Jay and his band are currently doing promotional performances for “Driven” along with media appearances on TV and radio.  He will be onstage in the City Park to delight the audience from 1pm to 2pm.  This is a must see performance!

    On Sunday in the park will be the Bluegrass music organized by Blue Grass Mid American/Bryan Dietz. On Elm Street will be another stage with the popular Farmington area band…Southbound Exit ….they will be performing both days from 11:00am to 5pm.

    Like to Karaoke? DJ Rockin’ Robin will be next to City Hall both days playing all your favorite tunes, sign up and sing a song yourself.

    The town is closed to vehicle traffic from 9am to 5pm.  There is parking along both sides of Hwy K for a fee with a short walk into town.  There are also free shuttle buses running continuously from the Windsor School campus on Highway 61-67, there is a nominal donation for parking at the campus.   Limited handicap parking is available at the Windsor Elementary School in Kimmswick via Montebello Road.
